THE PROFESSIONALS

Founder & Clinical Director
Tari Arowolo, MS., BCBA,LBA
The diagnosis of my daughter's autism was like a devastating storm that shook our family. The days and months that followed were overwhelming to say the least but we were lucky to find a passionate and dedicated BCBA. In the midst of all the chaos, she became like lighthouse for us and opened our eyes to the fact that this was just the beginning of a challenging but ultimately beautiful journey.
Her guidance and expertise brought us to a new threshold where we could see my daughter thrive.

The experience was like a compass that pointed me towards my life's purpose, to become a BCBA and help guide other families and help ensure others know they do not have to walk the ASD path alone.

At Joyful Journey ABA, our mission is to guide special needs families through the overwhelming process of finding a good fit on their autism journey. Our goal is to reduce the wait times for services and simplify the process for children to receive medically necessary ABA services and guide families as they choose life-changing treatments for their children.

Joyful journey will utilize Applied Behavior Analysis through individualized trainings for families and consultation services all while keeping the focus on the child.

Dr. Jakaycee Butler, CCC-SLP, CLC, CAS
Hi, I’m Jakaycee! I am passionate about meeting families where they are and helping them advocate for their child’s communication and feeding needs.
Throughout my career as a speech therapist, I have worked with children in home health, private practice, and hospital settings.
I understand that every family has their own unique values and culture and that parents are the experts on their children — so it’s my goal to encourage caregivers to step into that role with confidence. Whether we are meeting for speech or feeding therapy or for a lactation counseling session, we will focus on what’s most important in your daily life and celebrate every success along the way.
In my free time, you’ll find me reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in the Houston area. I look forward to learning all about your family’s interests and goals!
